Transaction types and statuses

Understand transaction types (card, deposit, refund, adjustment) and statuses.

This explains what the types and statuses shown in your transaction history mean.

Types

  • Card: a card payment or purchase
  • Deposit: funds added to your account (including crypto deposits)
  • Refund: a refund or credit
  • Adjustment: a record that reconciles a difference in amount

Statuses

  • In progress: the transaction is being processed
  • Completed / Success: finished normally
  • Failed: the transaction failed
  • Reversed: canceled or refunded

Note

For crypto deposits, the status updates once the transaction is confirmed on the blockchain.
